ROYAL CANIN PET FOOD MANUFACTURING PLANT NIEPOŁOMICE

OJL Group assisted Royal Canin, one of the world leaders in the production of specialist dog and cat food, belonging to the Mars Group, in developing a new production plant in Poland. The factory, located in Niepołomice near Kraków, was commissioned in 2007.

Since then, numerous modifications have been made to the facility without disturbing the production process.

The extension of the plant took place in 2014 and consisted of launching a third production line with the related infrastructure: silos, warehouses, packaging hall, etc. All these works were carried out while the plant was open, without interrupting the production.

The plant is located on an area of 9 hectares and includes:
– a 40-metre tall production tower
– warehouse and production hall with an area of 17,000 sq.m
– tanks and storage silos
– company headquarters of the area of 1200 sq.m
– sewage treatment plant and rainwater treatment plant
– biofilter for flue gas treatment
