PODIUM SPORTS HALL, GLIWICE

To complement its experience in working with private investors, OJL Group also participates in projects involving public institutions in Poland. On behalf of the general contractor, the company Mirbud, OJL Group was involved in constructing the Podium Sports Hall in Gliwice.

The facility, with a total surface area of 70,000 sq.m, includes the main stadium for 18,000 spectators, training grounds, a spa and a fitness centre, bars and restaurants, offices, car parks, etc.

The difficulty of this project lies in the need to comply with the building standards and regulations applicable in Poland, as well as the requirements of the various international sports federations which are likely to organise future competitions, including ice hockey, volleyball, basketball, handball, etc, within the stadium.

The facility was commissioned in 2017.
